I seem to be in the habit of writing letters lately. You and I both know I'm more efficient and sentimental with written word than I'll ever be at spoken word. So here's yet another letter, from me to you, expressing my brain's thoughts.
I am so grateful and blessed that the good Lord put you in my life, and I'm even more elated that you became my best friend and have stuck around this long. You mean so much to me. I know that the past few months have been oh so stressful with your engagement and wedding planning, and I know that I wasn't the most positive or supportive person every step of the way. But with the chaos and uncertainty behind us now, my heart is even more full at the realization that my best friend will always be my best friend and huge life changes don't have to interfere. I'm so happy for you because I know, from the biggest smile that you wore your entire wedding day, that you're happy. I'm happy because I love Brandon and I'm excited that I gained a brother-in-law! I'm happy because, when I reminisce on what we've been through together, I know that our foundation is strong and that we've got many years of ups and downs ahead of us. As our saying goes, we'll be old and wrinkled, sitting in rocking chairs, still cracking up over something we did in high school. I had fun going through some old pictures this past week, and I thought I'd make a sort of video scrapbook and share it with you. (:
Thank you for sticking by my side even when things are rough. Thank you for always understanding, for always encouraging me, and for being one of my biggest supporters. You're the best, and I love ya!
Enjoy memory lane!
